Muhammad Ali

What could we say about Ali’s achievements that haven’t already been said.

Ali was a greater talker, but he walked the talk and fought the talk. His own words seem more eloquent than anything we could say…

Money and riches don’t mean anything to me. I don’t care about being a rich individual. I’m not living for the glory or the fame. All this is doomed for destruction. You have it today; tomorrow it’s gone. I have bigger plans than that.
Muhammad Ali
Washington Post - June 8 1965

Nicknamed GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) - Muhammad Ali is widely regarded as the greatest heavyweight boxing champion who has ever lived. One of the biggest compliments you can pay Ali, is that he was every bit as good as he said he was. Ali regained the World Heavyweight title on three separate occasions – an astonishing feat. He won his three titles by defeating Sonny Liston in 1964, George Foreman in 1974 and Leon Spinks in 1978.

Ali once said, “Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something deep inside them: A desire, A dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.”
